Rox Acquires Quilt

September 23, 2025

Announcing Rox’s Acquisition of Quilt

We’re excited to share that Rox has acquired Quilt, the Sequoia-backed startup building an AI-powered knowledge assistant for revenue teams. Think of Quilt as an AI sales engineer that helps teams instantly find answers, autofill fields, and surface the right context so revenue teams can move faster.

Already trusted by innovative companies like Asana, Rubrik, and Rippling, Quilt has helped teams answer 95% of RFP questions within minutes, put their entire organization’s knowledge just one chat away, and act as a meeting sidekick that makes anyone a 10x sales rep.

As part of this acquisition, Daniel Chen, Quilt’s founder and CEO, will be joining Rox.

Why Quilt?

Quilt was founded with a simple but ambitious mission: make product and revenue knowledge instantly accessible to the people who need it most. Along the way, it became a category-defining knowledge assistant trusted by leading teams at Asana, Rubrik, and Rippling, Webflow, Hightouch, and more.

There are three reasons Quilt is such a natural fit for Rox:

  1. Talent: Quilt is led by Daniel Chen, who brings experience as co-founder of Hero.app (acquired by People.ai), Head of Engineering at PeopleGlass, and a former partner at Sequoia Capital. His background spans both building products and supporting companies at scale.

  2. Customers: Quilt’s customer base includes some of the most innovative companies in the world. Their trust in Quilt underscores the value and impact of its technology. Quilt saves their customers hundreds of hours a month fielding questions internally and responding to proposals and security questionnaires, and has received an immense amount of customer love.

  3. Strategic fit: As Rox expands within the global 2000, a common request has been proposal automation. Many companies, such as WSP, drive a significant amount of their revenue from RFPs. Rox has already successfully piloted intent signals to source and qualify relevant proposals. With Quilt and Autofill, Rox can help these companies close the loop by drafting proposals based on their knowledge library, saving tens of thousands of hours, and driving more revenue.

As Dan puts it: “The team is great, the energy is amazing, and I couldn’t be more excited to work with such a talented group of individuals.”

Together, this is a 1 + 1 = 3 moment:

Within a month, the Quilt team integrated its autofill capabilities into the Rox platform and are available for customers today.

Moving forward, Quilt will expand Rox’s roadmap, bringing integrations with platforms like Notion and Confluence, and extending to new surfaces like Slack, Chrome, and internal knowledge hubs.

The combined solution accelerates our ability to serve the Global 2000, giving revenue teams a true knowledge agent that puts core workflows on autopilot.

The catalyst for your
business’s success.

Driving your business forward with impactful solutions.
