Build your first workflow
The fastest way to understand workflows is to build one that saves you time this week.
Start with a moment you already know:
- the meeting you always prep for at the last minute,
- the follow-up you always mean to send faster,
- the report you rebuild every Friday,
- the alert you wish you got two days earlier.
Then teach Rox to do it for you.
Step 1
Go to Workflows at run.rox.com/workflows.

Step 2
Click New workflow.

Step 3
Choose how you want to start.
You can create a workflow in three public ways:
- AI build from prompt (recommended)
Describe what you want, answer clarifying questions, and let Rox draft the trigger and steps. - AI build from template
Start from a template, then refine it in Studio. - Create blank
Start from scratch and configure the workflow manually.

Step 4
Build in Studio.
Once you select an option, you will land in the Studio at run.rox.com/workflows/studio/{workflowId}.
From there, you can do the following:
- select a trigger

- add steps from the step picker

- configure each step in the right panel

- save your workflow

Step 5
Test the workflow.
Open Runs and start a New test run.

Step 6
Publish it.
When the workflow passes your test run, toggle Publish to enable it.

The goal is not to build something clever.
The goal is to build something your team will quietly depend on.
