Managing Private Data Fields
Once connected with your CRM, you can pull in existing fields from your CRM directly into Rox. These are known as Private Data Fields
To manage Private Data Fields, navigate to Data Attributes by clicking on your name on the bottom left corner, clicking Settings and then clicking Data Attributes on the left column.
Here you can see all the data fields that you currently have currently imported from another source. These do not include new clever columns that you make natively in Rox.
To add a Data Field, click Add Attribute in the top right. You will need to fill out:
- Name of the field
- Data Source (this could be Salesforce, Gmail, or another data warehouse)
- Object within your Data Source (for example this could be the Account table within your Salesforce)
- Field (data field within that object)
- Data Type
- Hidden (turning this on will hide the column from the team, but still enable the Rox platform to use it as context)

[Advanced] If you want to make additional data transformations before importing the data, you can click Use SQL Editor and provide your custom SQL code referencing your data source.

To edit each data field, click on the 3 dots to bring up the configuration panels similar to above. Here you can make adjustments to your previous configurations.
